Happy Friday, all.
I have been eating a lot of leftovers and things scrounged up from fridges this past week, and being home today it shall likely be the same. But that does not mean you want to be looking into my refrigerator and seeing just what condiments I have available. Spoiler: (pun intended) it is a lot of mustard and maple syrup and even some mustard maple syrup.
But is all of it still good?

From This Is Indexed I laughed when I saw this because it reminded me of how, when cleaning out my grandparents’ house years ago, we got to the pantry and discovered tin after tin after jar after jar of just about everything that was years expired. When you find a tin in the back of the shelf with black…something…oozing out of it, you just know it is expired.
Luckily, everything in my refrigerator looks good. But the little bit of dark maple syrup in my one container might make for a nice addition to a whisky or rum cocktail this evening.
