This year—and last—I have been making a more concerted effort to read more and use social media less. I just finished reading an Isaac Asimov novella, Lucky Starr the Moons of Jupiter, but that interrupted my reading of The Carpathians, a non-fiction book about the history of the northern slopes of the Carpathian Mountains—the Polish and Ukrainian side, not the Slovakian side.
Point is I am reading. And reading books of history. And this weekend I will be doing more of the same, and I bring that up because today is Friday, gateway to the weekend. And This Is Indexed published the following earlier this week.

Those who don’t read their history are doomed to repeat it.
But in the meantime, Happy Friday, all.
